Milou Allerholm is an art critic, writer and lecturer living in Stockholm. She writes regularly for the Swedish daily newspaper Dagens Nyheter, is the author of several essays and texts on contemporary art. She has been writing extensively on questions of the role of the artist today, and of art operating in a public space.

Alice Chauchat
, choreographer and performer, is interested in the politics of dance performances as social events, where people watch other people doing things with their bodies.  She choreographs mostly in collaboration with other artists, a.o. Anne Juren, Alix Eynaudi, Frédéric Gies, and has been touring internationally for 10 years. After studying in Lyon's C.N.S.M and at P.A.R.T.S., Brussels, she co-founded the collective B.D.C, together with Tom Plischke, Martin Nachbar and Hendrik Laevens. They created "Events for television (again)", "Afftect" and "(Re)sort" between 1999 and 2001. Since 2001 Alice presented "Quotation marks me" and collaborated with e.g. Anne Juren for J'aime, Alix Eynaudi for Crystalll or Frédéric Gies for The breast piece (praticable). Other activities include artistic assistance, participating in other people’s projects, writing, teaching and singing as well as taking part in the development of PAF (Performing Arts Forum) and everybodystoolbox.net. Vanja Hermele
is a gender specialist and a feminist writer. In her work she has focused on demasking the sexism in the politics of taste.Vanja Hermele has in different ways dissected the discriminatory discourse that defines artistic quality as an opposite to equality.Since her debut in 2001 she has published four books and many articels that all focus on revieling the variations of rationalisations and excuses that allows sexism and racism in the field of arts and what keeps it to be an domain most enjoyable for a small group of white men. Dan Karlholm is Professor of Art History at Södertörns högskola in Stockholm. His research interests cover, most importantly, the history and theory of art history (critical historiography), museum studies and visual culture. His latest book is Art of Illusion: The Representation of Art History in Nineteenth-Century Germany and Beyond (Bern, 2004/2006). In a joint research project, “Art (without) Spaces: Identities of Internet Art in Germany, Lithuania, and Sweden”, with Charlotte Bydler and Håkan Nilsson, he investigates the establishment and gradual dissolution of net art as a subversive tactic/compartment of contemporary art in general since the mid-1990s.

Ruth Kinna has been lecturing in political theory since 1992, teaching modules in the history of ideas, state theory, contemporary political theory, socialism and anti-capitalism. Her research has been focused on late nineteenth century socialism and anarchism, in particular the political thought of Peter Kropotkin and William Morris. She is the editor of 'Anarchist Studies' and a member of the editorial board for the 'Journal of the William Morris Association', and has published, for example 'Anarchism - a beginners guide'. "In this my research I have attempted to recover what was actually being expressed by anarchists and other socialists in the nineteenth century and to correct common misperceptions. Through it, I have developed interests in issues of patriotism, utopianism, ideology and political violence and contemporary anarchist thought." Maja Lundgren is an author, journalist and translator. Between 1993 to 97 she wrote columns in the magazine 90-tal. She has published several novels since the 90's, for example 'Sprickan i ögat' ('The crack in the eye'*, 1993), 'Pompeji' (2001) and 'Myggor och Tigrar' ('Mosquitos and Tigres'*, 2007). Sarah Melin working at The Dance Office, Department for Art and Culture Development, the Region of Västra Götaland. The Dance Office is part of a regional organisation and promotes projects and collaborations focusing on the development of the dance field and the artists working in the south west region of Sweden. The work spans from dance residencies, collaborations with institutions, freelance artists and municipalities, development funding as well as different platforms. Dance Office is a resource for ideas, processes and short term projects and does not work with dance production. Link: Dance Office

Cecilia Olsson is a dance researcher, critic and lecturer, who has worked at, for example, Stockholm University and The University College of Dance in Stockholm. She is director of The Swedish Program at Stockholm University.

Jens Sethzman is a light- and set designer working in the performing arts. He has collaborated with, among others, the choreographers Cristina Caprioli, Örjan Andersson, Virpi Pahkinen and Kenneth Kvarnström, and in several productions at Dramaten and Teater Galeasen. He has been a member of the reference group for dance at The Swedish Arts Council.

Mårten Spångberg is a performance related artist living and working in Stockholm. Together with Tor Lindstrand he initiated International Festival, an transdisciplinary production platform between architecture and performance. He is the head of the program of choreography at the University Collage of Dance in Stockholm. Links: International Festival

Jessyka Watson Galbraith studied dance at university in Australia and began traveling to Europe in 2000, she is now based in Stockholm. In 2008 she worked with International Festival on 'SWEAT - The Movie' at Impulstanz in Vienna and also re-mounted her project 'Let’s Talk About Love' with 22 dancers' at the fabrikPotsdam, it was originally performed in London in 2007. Jessyka is a member of INPEX in Stockholm, she works regularly with Australian's Paul Gazzola and Aimee Smith in Berlin and in 2007 was part of 'International Festival: The Theatre' in Graz. She thoroughly enjoys corporate employment; and has worked in the fields of film, finance, advertising and management consultancy in London. Link: Inpex

Mattias Strand is a dance- and theater teorist educated at Stockholm University. As theorist and writer, he has, among other things, participated in Johan Thelander's Arthea projects. Mattias is also working as a psyciatrist. Link: PRODUKT

Anders Jacobson is a performer and producer trained at The Royal Swedish Ballet School. He was one of the founders of moose dance company that toured in Sweden and Europe between 1998 and 2004. Since 2005 Anders is a member of the Live Art Collective MELO. He has collaborated with, among others, Kenneth Kvarnström, Philippe Blanchard & Gemma Higginbotham, Josse de Pauw/Het Toneelhuis and INPEX. Anders is currently working full time with PRODUKT.
